CHESHIRE, CT — The Town of Cheshire will be keeping an electronics recycling party on Saturday, March 19 and a mattress recycling party on Saturday, March 26.
Citizens can fall off their digital recyclables from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Quinnipiac Park, 1325 Cheshire St., in accordance to officials.
Acceptable items to recycle consist of:
Pcs/laptop/printer/keyboard/mouse/keep track of Tv/VCR/DVD/distant telephone/cellphone fax device console scanners iPods/PDAs stereo products, digital camera tablet/eBooks modest appliances, lightbulbs, recreation consoles/controllers and batteries.
The subsequent products are NOT approved: smoke detectors, motor vehicle batteries, and appliances containing Freon, including AC models, fridges, and dehumidifiers.
No other squander components will be approved, in accordance to officials.
